Trisha Craig

Flute

  • Flutist Trisha Craig specializes in 20th Century and contemporary repertoire, and performs in solo and chamber settings throughout the region. Her training includes the BM from Ithaca College and the MM in Flute Performance from Longy School of Music, where she studied with Robert Willoughby.

    Trisha is a sought-after instructor and clinician. She teaches flute privately and through the Ted Herbert Music School, and is also the Conductor of the NMYO Flute Choirs and the Farmington NH Community Band.  She has been the Flute Specialist at Salem State University’s Woodwind Day for several years and has adjudicated countless flute festivals and competitions throughout New England. Her students have won awards at the local, regional and national levels, and have been accepted to some of the finest music colleges in the country.  

    For twenty-two years, Ms. Craig was the Owner and Director of Music Makers, a music school on the NH Seacoast. She has also taught flute at The Governor’s Academy, Flute Teaching Methods at University of New Hampshire, Applied Flute at Johnson State College, and has been the Guest Conductor with Willow Flute Ensemble and the Center Harbor Town Band.  She was also the first winner of the Robert Willoughby Baroque Flute Scholarship, through which she studied baroque flute with Carol Epple.  

    Trisha’s solo concerts are favorites among museums, art galleries, and other small venues. She is known for bringing the music and its time periods to life while engaging the audience in lively conversation.

Diane Francoeur

Clarinet

  • Diane is a retired music educator from the Manchester School District and has had the privilege of teaching at the elementary, middle and high school levels. Her last 15 years were spent at West High, leading the Marching Blue Knights, the Concert Band and Jazz Band. She also had the pleasure of spending some of this time working with the Choirs. Diane completed her undergraduate work at the University of New Hampshire, a Masters in Education, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Educational Leadership from Plymouth State University.

    Awards include the Manchester High School West “2010 Teacher of the Year”, the New Hampshire Music Educators Association “2015 Distinguished Music Educator of the Year”, the New Hampshire Band Directors Association, “2016 Outstanding Band Director”, the 19th Annual 50 Band Directors Who Make a Difference issue of School, Band and Orchestra Magazine (SBO), the 2016 Grammy Signature Schools Community Award, and the 1st recipient of the 2017 Aaron Singer Award.

Andrew Emanuel

Clarinet, Saxophone

  • Andrew Emanuel is a recent graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a B.M. in Music Education. While at UNH, Emanuel was fortunate enough to share the stage with notable artists such as Chris Potter, Allen Vizzutti, Dave Pietro, Steve Wilson, and Marshall Gilkes, and these experiences have also helped shape him as a musician.

    Emanuel’s teaching style is greatly influenced by all of the teachers he studied with at UNH, including Nathan Jorgensen, Elizabeth Gunlogson, Peggy Vagts, Janet Polk, and Ryan Parker. In addition to teaching private lessons, Emanuel keeps an active gig schedule throughout NH with The Wicked Smart Horn Band, as well as his own band, Clandestine. Andrew Emanuel offers lessons on Clarinet, Saxophone, and Flute. He also offers improvisation lessons on any instrument.

Andrea Davies

Saxophone

  • Saxophonist Andrea Davies has been performing professionally since the age of 11. She started her music career playing in pit orchestras with Franklin Footlight Theatre and Educational Theatre Collaborative. Performing with up to 4 instruments for each book!

    Attending a school with a small music program, she reached out to other schools. Creating an opportunity for her to attend a school with a bigger music department in Laconia NH. Attending classes for Wind Symphony, Marching band, Jazz band and Concert band.

    She also played in Moulton’s Community Band of Sanbornton, Gilford Community Band, and sat in on saxophone for Lakes Region Symphony Orchestra.

    At 14 years old she started playing in the Manchester’s Music on Baritone Sax with Lakes Region Big Band and Manchuka.

    Today, Andrea manages and plays with The Scott Spradling Band performing Pop, Rock and Jazz throughout the state! SSB performs for many non profit organizations as well as performing concerts at the Rex Theatre in Manchester NH!

    After 22 years of playing, Andrea still has just as much passion for music as she did the day she started!
